Euripides' Suppliant women

2018 - 2019 in Paris

Preparation of the performance / show of the research Euripides'Suppliant women in Crete on July 2019 (see Workshops)

• Collective work of re-reading the translation en french by Jacqueline Razkonnikoff

• Re-writing of the the text in modern greek of the Euripides' Suppliant women from the translation from ancient greek by Roussos.

• Research of the structure of the stage  "mise en espace" of the tragedy.

• Learnig the greek language from two french actors in order to be able to perform in greek.

• Creation of costumes.

• Creation of the original musik by Nikos Fotiou

• Recording the chorus in greek.

• Repetitions on the stage and mise en espace of the chorus by Miranda Skoulatou and training of the actors by Anastase Rouillé into the MPAA Bréguet.

• In 2019 two performanes of the Euripides' Suppliants women have taken place:

  - The 5th of July into the open theater Manos Hadjidakis at Heraklion.

  - The 6th of July into the open theater of Fourni.

​

• At the end of June beginnig of July, Workshops were done by Miranda Skoulatou every afternoon into the open theater of Fourni, near Archanes: experiments for the creation of the space, repetitions of the scenes and the mouvements of the chorus, sound settings and the original music of Nikos Fotiou in order to prepair the performanes.

      With the participation of Anastase Rouillé.

• With the participation in this work of research, stage setting "mise en espace", and theatrical game:

  - The whole team of THEATRA II

  - The students of the scool "Day's theater" " theatro tis imeras" of the Heraklion    

branch: Popi Papadaki, Charoula Mavraki, Stella Bouboulaki.

  - And Marianna Travagiaki, Erasmia Boulitsaki, Thanassis Nipirakis.
